Introduction: print(“Hello, World”)
Hello, World
Whew, looks like the code worked. We would’ve been in trouble if I couldn’t even print the very basis of everyone’s combined CS knowledge. Corny, I know 😅. Anyway, I figured there’d be no better place to start this newsletter then with the very thing that began many, if not all, of our journeys into tech. I like to relate tech to our universe. Great minds like Charles Babbage (created the first computer), Alan Turing (father of CS), and those that created the internet were the “Big Bang” of this universe, and ever since its inception, tech has been expanding rapidly. Similar to how we frequently discover a new star or planet in our ever-expanding universe, everyday there’s more and more advancements in the universe of computer science, engineering and tech. All of this expansion makes this a pivotal and exciting time to be a college student pursuing a professional and lifelong journey into tech. I’m starting Twenties In Tech to share this journey with other people that hold the same passion for tech and its applications in the future of our world. The main portion of this newsletter will hold weekly recaps/summaries of the most interesting tech news I saw from the week. This weekly analysis will be accompanied with other posts throughout the month, I’m thinking of doing some deep dives into specific topics, tech history and also might feature some more college centric segments (I am a student after all).Alright enough of the technicalities. I hope that, whether you’re a fellow college student/young adult or just another person that wants to connect with like-minded people and learn more about tech in today’s world, this newsletter will have something for you. Thanks for checking out my newsletter and I hope you enjoy following along in the future! |
